Hebrew School at Congregation Beth El |

Congregation Beth El has a complete Hebrew School serving children from pre-K ages (3 years) up through high school. Classes meet on Sundays for an ``extended'' 9:30 - 1 p.m. schedule.
Typical schedule:
- 9:30 - 10:00: teaching service and Torah discussion for all the kids, led by Rabbi Mandel.
- 10:00 - 11:30: Hebrew instruction for Bet, Gimmel and Hey (B'Nei Mitzvah)
classes.
(The Aleph and Gan classes go from 9:30 - 12:00 and then are dismissed)
- 11:30 - noon: Hafsakah (snack) for kids in Bet, Gimmel and Hey classes.
- Noon - 1 p.m.: Jewish studies and/or craft projects for Bet, Gimmel and Hey classes.
The Teen group also meets weekly from noon - 1 p.m.
There are special events throughout the year associated with the Hebrew School, including a Hannukah party, a Tu B'Shvat seder, and a model Passover seder. Consult the bulletin for more details about special Hebrew school programming.
