    Rabbi Nina Home From Ghana

GhanaThe American Jewish World Service sponsored a Rabbinic Delegation to Ghana so that rabbis from all over the country can experience first-hand the power of grassroots development and explore issues of social justice and global responsibility from the perspective of Jewish texts and tradition. Rabbi Nina, along with 17 other rabbis from all denominations, worked at Challenging Heights, an AJWS-supported NGO devoted to providing education to former child slaves and resources to families whose children are at risk for slavery and human trafficking. To read more about her experiences, check out the Rabbi's Blog. To learn more about AJWS, visit their website at ajws.org.
