An extravaganza of Israeli Dance and Food

Enjoy a performance by the The Parparim Ensemble as they provide an exhilarating multi-media program of Israeli dance, music and visual effects. Spirited and captivating, Parparim has thrilled audiences in the United States and Israel since 1975. The hour and 15 minute program includes an exhilarating performance and audience participation in dance and song that will appeal to children, adults, and families.
We are delighted to have Steve Weintraub, internationally recognized Yiddish dance master and veteran Parparim dancer/choreographer joining the program.
Music director Zvi Klein and his talented family are a virtual Israeli “Von Trapp” family. His wife, Hagit Avnon-Klein is a talented vocalist and entertainer. Their children, Hillit and Dvir are also accomplished musicians who share their talents with the ensemble on flute and violin respectively.
Then, feast on a variety of Middle Eastern vegetarian dishes such as falafel, spicy lentil soup, hummus, baba ganoush, and Egyptian spinach pie, among other treats catered by Taza Truck of Allentown.
